Dietitians are allied health professionals who contribute to the promotion of health and the prevention and treatment of illness by optimising the nutrition of populations, communities and individuals.The Dietitian In Charge is the department head, responsible for professional leadership, guidance and day to day operational and line management of the Nutrition and Dietetic staff at Griffith Base Hospital and for provision of dietetic services in both the hospital and community/outpatient settings services.
