About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic clinical services to patients across the continuum of care, within a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Utilise evidence-based practice to apply knowledge and skills that facilitate novel, complex, critical discipline specific or multi-disciplinary decisions, under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior clinicians.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary teams, and service improvement activities, working cooperatively and effectively within the team and with patients/clients to provide high quality patient care.
- Liaise with Dietetic Assistants and provide direction where appropriate with respect to screening for malnutrition, and organising and monitoring patient's nutrition support to ensure a high quality nutrition service.
