Dietitian - Senior

Our Nutrition and Dietetics Division of Clinical Support Services are looking for a Senior Dietitian to deliver high level Nutrition and Dietetic services of a varied nature to consumers and other client groups of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
The Senior Dietitian acts as a resource person by leading quality improvement, research and service development of clinical areas and/or food services consistent with CQHHS and Queensland Health State-wide initiatives and strategic directions.

High quality services are provided across the care continuum to client/patient groups across the Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Mount Morgan business unit. The Nutrition and Dietetics Services also: provide education and training placements to undergraduate and post graduate students.About the role:This position works as a member of a team to deliver contemporary high-quality nutrition and dietetics clinical services (appropriate with level of experience) to Central Queensland Health patients and to other stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).About you:

• The successful applicant must hold a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution providing eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status. APD status is required for primary supervisors of dietetic students.
• The successful applicant must participate in and ensure compliance with credentialing and defining scope of clinical practice processes for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
• While not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in relevant practice area/s are highly desirable.

What we offer:Salary information:Total remuneration value of up to $152,776 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $62.75 - $67.53 p.h.
