About the role
- It is the purpose of this role to deliver high-level clinical dietetic services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary team to paediatric patients at Caboolture Hospital, and to other stakeholders/customers of the Dietetics and Food Services Department. Duties are of a complex and varied nature and the majority are performed with a high level of independence. The position also provides mentoring and clinical practice supervision to less experienced staff and students.

- Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in paediatric dietetics and ability to provide clinical services of a complex nature, where established principles, procedures and methods require some expansion, adaptation or modification. The ability and experience to backfill an adult workload (if required) would also be desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and liaise effectively with supervisors and other senior clinicians regarding service delivery and improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, undertake and evaluate service quality improvement and/or research activities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical education and operational supervision to students, less experienced staff and other staff
