Promotions Specialist – MIX102.3

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Promotions and Events Specialist to play a key part in the creation and execution of industry leading campaigns on Adelaide’s #1 station, including Max & Ali in the Morning. A role like this one wears many hats (and quite literally too, we love a dress up!) and no two days are ever the same in our highly creative, driven and passionate team.
About the role:
It’s a dream role for anyone passionate about a dynamic, innovative industry like ours… and for someone who thrives under pressure, who lives for the detail and has the ability to execute flawless integrated and station led campaigns to the highest of standards!
You will:
- Assist with Mix102.3 and nationally networked promotional activity.
- Assist with the development and rollout of all Max & Ali in the Morning and Mix102.3 events and activations. Some recent examples include - Sammy: Our Boy in Blue, My Big Fat Inflatable Wedding, and Back To School Fridays Outside Broadcasts.
- Assist with all prize facilitation, Audata, Salesforce, entrant management, prize draws, contest sheets, and digital briefs
- Manage all campaign, partnership, and event branding including managing marketing and client approvals as required
- Manage all event requirements including risk assessments, waivers, insurance, permits, and run sheets.
- Manage Terms and Conditions and prize sourcing and help manage incoming promotional opportunities for all Mix102.3 shows.
- Assist with internal and external commercial and publicity briefs.
- Manage all live campaigns by providing progress updates, post campaign reports, airchecks, ticketing, and prize fulfilment.
- Establish strong relationships with local PR agencies and sales teams to support sourcing and management of contra for local benchmarks.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar environment – ideally within radio, TV, events, or media promotions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications, or similar is preferred.
- Proven experience in creation and delivery of cross platform integrated campaigns.
- A high level of dedication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Proven Project Management skills.
- Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not mandatory.
