Digital Business Analyst

The RoleWe're offering an exciting opportunity for either an emerging talent or an experienced Digital Business Analyst to join our clients growing digital team. Reporting to our engaging Product Engagement Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our digital future. This fixed-term position will involve pre-delivery planning and leveraging design thinking to drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand and document key aspects of relevant products.
• Engage with Value Stream teams to ensure a thorough understanding of product requirements.
• Forecasting for the digital portfolio, ideas senior stake holders. From a reporting sense,
• Crafting problem statements, problem shaping and guiding through to delivery. 
• Apply best practice analysis tools and techniques to identify issues, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the development of well-defined business cases and mandates through use cases, epics, and user stories.

 Candidate

• Broad digital domain experience in areas such as Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, and Project Management.
• Strong design thinking skills.
• Knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
• Experience in converting business and functional requirements into use cases, epics, and user stories.
• Ability to quantify resource requirements and communicate proposed project benefits effectively.
• Proficiency in risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing.
• Demonstrated ability to engage developers and Product Owners to achieve target outcome.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline. 
• Familiarity with company operations in areas such as customer innovation, utility metering, asset management, and construction.
• Knowledge of key Business Analysis functions such as process mapping, requirements documentation, and benefits elicitation.
