Business Analyst Come join a local council government agency out in the western suburbs as they are looking for their next Business Analyst to help them through different ICT internal projects. This opportunity is a 3 month fixed term contract as they work under the hybrid working model.Key responsibilities and dutiesCollaborate with subject-matter experts, stakeholders and support partners, both internal and external, to define and document functional, non-functional, reporting and transitional business requirements, benefits and goals.Identify and analyse how business users create, gather, share and use data to assist in determining how technology can support & enhance these processes in collaboration with other ICT staff.Undertake preliminary testing and quality assurance on behalf of stakeholders and provide support to stakeholders conducting acceptance testing of IT systemsCommunicate and assist stakeholders with adoption of future technology improvementsUnderstand trends and legislation changes that will impact stakeholders and ensure ICT are aware of the technology implicationsWork in a multi-disciplinary design and development team such as business, subject matter experts, product owners, testers, developers, solution architects and project managers.Adapts easily to changing business needs, conditions and work responsibilities. Adapts approach, goals and methods to achieve successful solutions and results in dynamic situations.Produce and maintain technical documents, following Councils document management processAssist the ICT digital and support team as requiredSkills and experienceDemonstrated experience facilitating effective stakeholder workshops, understanding, interpreting and validating user requirements, exploring opportunities and issues, defining financial and non- financial benefitsApplication of industry discipline, best practices and legislation in search for solutions to problems and opportunitiesProficient in business analysis and process improvement frameworks, tools and techniques and work methodsAbility to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholdersIf you believe you meet these requirements or require more information on this role, please don't hesitate to reach out to Tony via email: tony.nguyen@randstaddigital.com.au or click apply.
