What you'll Do

You will perform the critical role of taking ownership of multiple platforms, leading the creation of the product to improve Woolworths team members experiences, research best practice and work with our design/product team. Also, you will take responsibilities around technology backlog and operational excellence and actively push for improvements to help deliver exceptional experiences for our Woolworths team members.

  • Develop high quality, scalable and performant solutions whilst working collaboratively with Product Owners, BAs and Engineering Team.
  • Lead on technical delivery of the squad, from designing solutions to deploying them and ensuring correct operation, including operational & capital budget management.
  • Identify talent, assist in recruiting and onboarding new engineers and build strong teams.
  • Coach, mentor and help the engineers in the team to improve their skills.
  • Coordinate with other Tech Leads and the architecture team on best practices and ensuring all squads are aligned.

What you'll bring

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated individual to the role of People System Product Manager. Reporting to the Head of IT - People Digital Experience, you will be part of the People Digital Experience team and have a purpose to improve Woolworths team members experiences, increase productivity, innovation and enhance team collaboration.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in driving the human-centred design process, product management, marketing and customer insights
  • Experience in leading digital platforms and applications in the Retail industry or similar organisations.
  • Experience with Culture & People (HR) Technology and previous experience in Workforce Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management Systems.
  • Excel at influencing and negotiating positive outcomes at senior levels & Product Partners.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholder to include leading various types of customer validation and testing, including iteration reviews and UX Testing with real customers
