The role works collaboratively with the Communications and Engagement team to deliver best-practice web experiences for a broad range of audiences and supports the delivery of digitaldesign for internal and external stakeholders.KEY RELATIONSHIPS:InternalOur PeopleExternalOur CustomersExternal Web Agencies and DesignersExternal consultantsGovernment agenciesOther councilsEMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines. This position may involve work outside normal working hours. Additional hours over the standard hours will attract time in lieu arrangement or payment of overtime rates as agreed in advance with your supervisor. On occasions, there will be a requirement to attend meetings and events outside of normal business hours. This position does not require you to wear a compulsory uniform, however you must follow the dress code requirements within the AlburyCity’s Our People Dress Code Standards. Our People are required to present a smart and professional image to the public at all times, including when in public and when working remotely. This position involves working in a predominantly indoor environment and using a computer is considered a core component of the role. There may be occasional visits to other work locations. The position requires an average level of aerobic and physical fitness to undertake occasional physical activities, such as walking and lifting, along with general manual handling tasks as part of a normal working environment. A medical declaration is required for this position. This position is delegated with certain powers, authorities, duties and functions of Council under the AlburyCity Delegations of Authority, in accordance with section 378 of the Local Government Act. This position requires evidence of a current Australian National Police Check. This position is subject to alcohol and other drug testing This position is located at the AlburyCity Administration Building, 553 Kiewa Street, Albury with occasional visits to external sites/depots as required.  ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Qualifications in web development, communications, digital marketing, marketing, or related field and/or equivalent work experience  DESIRABLE CRITERIA: Class C (standard) Driver’s License or Provisional License  EXPERIENCE:? Demonstrated experience in leading web strategy, development and design, including building websites and managing content Local Government experience highly desirable? Extensive knowledge of web applications, programming languages and web services. Demonstrated experience in design and management of content for other Digital Communications platforms Proven success in project management.  SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Advanced HTML5, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets and templates that underpin an effective CMS Demonstrated knowledge of Squiz Matrix or similar CMS Digital design skills (specifically mobile/web design) Proficiency with content management systems, including WordPress Research and analysis skills, specifically…
