What's the role?
news.com.au is looking for a Digital Content Creator with a creative eye, solid writing skills and an innate understanding of what makes people tick and the kind of stories that compel them to click.
In this client-facing role, working with two of our biggest commercial partners, you will be responsible for the curation and execution of compelling, engaging and effective partner-funded content.
About the role:
Write and produce engaging commercial content that people want to click on and read
Use social media to stay on top of trending topics, find case studies and find ideas for stories
Pitch and deliver unique content that will drive conversation, engagement and click-throughs across multiple platforms
Write headlines, sell and choose images to maximise click-through rates to our commercial content on the news.com.au homepage
Use analytics to report results back to clients
Ability to interpret data and efficiently optimise content in order to achieve targets
Full-time position working Sunday to Thursday, hybrid working, based in our Sydney office
Who are you?
Young reporter or aspiring media professional with strong writing skills
Comfortable working independently to hit deadlines and targets
Confident interviewing people and presenting to small groups
Flexible, positive attitude
Great communicator who can think outside of the box and find creative solutions for clients
Care about our audience and ensure that our ideas and tone of voice are always in tune
