In this role, you'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, applying your design thinking skills to create engaging interactive and static content, conduct user experience focus groups, and develop videos, web copy and graphics. Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee video content for our digital channels.
- Designing HTML and CSS web content for third-party applications (Canvas, Chronus, Career Hub).
- Collaborating with our internal digital design teams to create engaging digital communications and assets, spanning graphics, videos, and copy, to boost student engagement.

You will also have:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of relevant work experience in a field related to media and communications, web design, graphic design, or digital design.
- Experience in content creation, either video, copywriting, interactive web or graphic design.
- Applied knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability and interest in learning new systems and technologies.
- An understanding of service design principles and iterative design processes, with the ability to research, test, analyse, and design impactful solutions.

Student and Scholarly Services (SASS) provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.
The Careers & Employability (C&E) team within SASS delivers services and programs to enable students to make the successful transition from study to professional life. The careers service delivers content and programs via a range of digital platforms, including the University's learning management system Canvas, and other third-party providers, Chronus, Simplicity, VMock, Abintegro, all of which are supported by the C&E Digital Services team. The Digital Designer reports to the Digital Service Coordinator, Careers & Employability.
