Tell me more...The purpose of the Digital Health Transformation and Education Manager is to drive the seamless integration of Digital Health initiatives within Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, encompassing the realms of informatics, business change, education, and digital literacy.
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in driving Digital Health Transformation initiatives and aligning organisational goals with innovative solutions.
• Possess a deep understanding of healthcare informatics, data governance, and interoperability standards to facilitate seamless data exchange and support clinical decision making.
• Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.

Requirements for the role:

• Whilst not mandatory the below would be considered well regarded;

• Educational qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) and/or post-graduate experience in teaching and learning in regional/rural/remote areas.
• Certified Health Informatician Australasia (CHIA)
• This position requires the incumbent to operate a ‘C' Class Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
