About the Role We are seeking an experienced Asset Strategy, Integrity and Performance Superintendent to join The Whitehaven Coal family. The Asset Strategy, Integrity and Performance Superintendent will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic asset management objectives and governance of asset integrity, compliance and performance elements.
This role can be based out of Brisbane, Newcastle or Gunnedah, with some travel required.
What You'll Do
Oversee Strategy Optimisation for Field, Mobile and Fixed Plant Assets to improve equipment performance by completing asset health reviews, working with OEMs on reliability improvement and governing equipment strategies
Accountable for development of life cycle plans and analysis
Provide Defect Elimination support for operations to improve equipment performance, reduce waste and variability and optimise cost
Manages and governs all Maintenance processes including change management, standard development, SAP governance in Maintenance, coaching of Work Management Processes
Accountable for the governance and development of Asset Equipment Standards
Supports assets on delivering on priorities related to maintenance through enhanced data analytics and improved project management
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualifications in engineering and management or an appropriate discipline and / or relevant industry experience
Demonstrable skills and experience with strategic asset management and implementation of leading practice
Skills defining Asset Strategy and reliability improvement programs/initiatives
An open Australian driving licence is required.
Proven management experience, at a senior level, preferably gained in a heavy industry or similar environment.
