Reporting to the CMO and with one Digital Marketing Coordinator direct report, this newly created role is responsible for driving leading generation across key digital channels and the key responsibilities are:
- Developing and implementing Digital Marketing strategies, including social media advertising, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC)
- Building and maintaining the brand’s presence across multiple social media channels
- Assist with the development, management and execution of an annual Marketing Plan.
- Marketing Report – Deliver monthly performance reports measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, acquisition, audience engagement, conversion and ad spend roi
- Creation of campaign plans including landing pages and social ads
- Review and Improve UX, traffic, and content of the website
- Management and implementation of all web development work
- Review and develop compelling SEO content across digital channels ensuring the voice and tone is on brand
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive Digital Marketing approach across all channels
- Set clear performance goals, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on campaign performance and other relevant metrics
- Optimise Digital Marketing campaigns through continuous testing, data analysis, and performance monitoring to maximise effectiveness and drive conversions
- Manage 1 direct report
- Manage and allocate the Digital Marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources
- Collaborate with external agencies, and partners to execute Digital Marketing campaigns and leverage their expertise when necessary
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy and protection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Digital Marketing strategies that promote and communicate the brand's sustainability commitment strategies.
Required skills and experience:
- Degree educated in relevant Commerce or Marketing discipline
- 4+ years Digital Marketing Experience with advanced digital analytic and reporting skills
- Strong on-line Marketing channel experience in optimising digital content across channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media)
- Understanding and experience with: Content Management Systems; WordPress or DXPs; HTML/CSS; Google Analytics and Ad tracking; SEO - Elementor, content and page linking; website management; all Social Media Platforms and advertising within these sites and their scheduling programs; Co-schedule etc); Photo and Video editing (Adobe Suite, Canva etc)
- Strong background in customer acquisition and conversion strategies with proven quantifiable results
- Solid understanding of web analytics, conversion tracking, and performance measurement
- Proficiency in using Digital Marketing tools and platforms including Google Analytics, Google ads, Meta, YouTube, TikTok
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Creative thinking and a strong problem-solving mindset
- Strong copywriting and communications skills
- Travel Industry experience is an advantage
