Role Description/Criteria
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, ongoing Digital Marketing & Publications Officer.
The position includes benefits such as 7 weeks of annual leave, coinciding with school holidays, easy access to public transportation leading directly to the school, a gym on the premises, and limited off-street parking. You will become an integral member of a vibrant Development Office, where your contributions are highly valued, and you will join the De La Salle community, which features a social club.
The perfect candidate will possess a blend of creativity and strategic insight, with a strong background in Digital Marketing, and skills in content creation, editorial management, and a passion for design. This role is essential for aiding the College in reaching its enrolment objectives and enhancing its brand visibility.

Remuneration is based on experience in accordance with the Education Support Officer – Category C scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

Job Description:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Implement and Monitor Social Media Content
- Develop a social media strategy
- Regularly update the college website with fresh content
- Manage External and Internal Communications
- Craft compelling content for various channels, including social media, the college website, and print publications
- Collaborate with designers to ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines
Skills/Experience Required:
We require the following qualifications and qualities in the ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience in communications, publishing, or a related role, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting. This role could be especially well-suited to a university graduate who has had relevant experience A strong commitment to Catholic education.
- Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
- An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students and colleagues.
- An eagerness to learn
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous
Special Requirements:
