Position Details
Many of our clients require further SEO and digital marketing support. The role focuses on understanding business needs and meeting these with digital strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.
The role is responsible for optimising and maintaining digital touchpoints for various businesses. The exact requirements will vary based on the individual client, where you will work with high-level management according to their needs. Your marketing knowledge will also support the development team in reviewing designs and structures of new websites, so they are built to meet customer expectations and business goals.
Opportunities for growth exist for the right candidate including: client meetings, reviewing goals, setting new goals, and managing overall strategic direction for clients within the digital marketing space.
Key Selection Criteria
· 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing and content creation.
· A customer centric mindset with curiosity and ambition
· Ability to analyse strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for development of a brands digital presence.
· An understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and its importance to website development and content strategy. Including keyword research, technical analysis and application to the business goals.
· Previous experience working with WordPress is highly desired.
· A basic understanding of digital marketing strategy. How to set goals with a business, review performance and communicate results. Prior experience is not required but welcome. A willingness to learn is a must.
· Evidence of past creative work. Ability to take on information from a company: colours, fonts, logos and some creative guidance and make a series of posts and templated to suit their style.
· Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
· Ability to work with Google applications such as Analytics (GA4), AdWords, Search Console and Google My Business.
· Experience or willingness to learn EDM platforms such as MailChimp
· The role requires you to work to timeframes and set weekly goals. You need to be able to work with autonomy but also work as part of our broader team.
· As the marketing analysis, you will lead the reporting and analysis of past and current strategies, with the ability to communicate performance to clients.
· Strong copywriting skills, an ability to think outside the box, a creative flare and a love of the digital world will help you succeed in this role.
· Design platforms are not essential, but experience with a Canva/Adobe Photoshop software is preferred.
To Be Successful:
· A degree in Marketing and/or Communications or other relevant Google Certifications
· Past experience in delivering successful marketing strategies
· An analytical approach to campaign performance
· A willingness to learn and stay up to date with marketing trends
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
