The Gig: Video Editor
We are looking for an exceptional Editor to join our crew full time. You will be responsible for a variety of projects, bringing them to life from concept to delivery. Sometimes this will be solo and other times you will team up to push creative boundaries. You will need to be self-motivated, highly organised, and story driven.
You will report to a creative director and a producer for project delivery. At times, you will need to supervise other editors and motion designers to ensure creative and technical quality is maintained.
We are looking for a driven “mid-level” editor who wants stability in a passionate and creative team. Ideally you have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar studio environment. Relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
Essential skills:
- Highly skilled with Premiere
- Comfortable with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Intuition for storytelling, tone and pace to effectively bring the creative concept to life
- Ability to carry projects from concept to delivery
- Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
- Solid understanding of post-production process
- Adept technical knowledge of formats and delivery (across social media, digital and broadcast)
Bonus Points:
- Experience with additional post-production processes including motion design, colour grading, sound design and mix
- Skilled with Motion Design / Animation
- Comfortable with Da Vinci Resolve
- Production experience
