On behalf of our client, we are looking for a full-time Digital Project manager to join their development team. The client is based in Melbourne and operates as a managed software service solution offering holistic and innovative solutions for Australian businesses to optimise their digital customer experience.
The Digital Project Manager will manage the risk, quality and progress of ICT projects to organisational standards, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope of the business.
Your role is to:
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with clients and internal development teams.
- Direct and manage complete lifecycle of ICT projects including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions designed to meet requirements of various clients using Asana and scrum boards.
- Develop and groom backlog of issues, enhancements and requests with acceptance criteria for clients.
- Continually perform MosCoW analysis to identify Must have, Should have, Could have and Won’t have requirements.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, requirement and other PMO methodology documentation.
- Work closely with development teams to utilize SaaS applications in an efficient and effective manner.
- Develop full-scale ICT project plans and associated communication documents.
- Determine project needs and resources required for the success of the ICT project.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Ensure delivery of project objectives within prescribed timeframe and budget.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Facilitate status meetings with project stakeholders.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Manage resource capacity to align with on-going project initiatives and overall budgetary goals.
- Help develop training materials as needed for the rollout of new business processes.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Subject Matter Expertise Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the industry.
- Familiarity with decentralized geographic operational teams.
- Ability to manage and lead without direct authority.
- Must be a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working on several projects at the same time.
- Capability of executing a project with multiple application development teams and integrated hosted application solutions and cloud infrastructure.
- Responsible for overall coordination of user acceptance testing and training.
- Ability to perform business analysis tasks as appropriate for project execution.
- Experience managing multiple, geographically dispersed vendors through all phases of the project life cycle.
- Very good understanding of the business operations and process related to the lead to order pipeline.
