Long-term day rate contracting opportunity for Federal Agency with hybrid workplace flexibility, complex IT programs, and opportunity to be based in any of Richmond, Geelong, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth.
Our Client is seeking 2 x talented and experienced EL1 Project Managers with ICT projects experience ideally within digital transformation in government (state or federal).
Any exposure to Salesforce Communities, CRM, digital portals, Agile SAFe delivery highly regarded. This large IT Group has projects ranging from digital transformation and portals, through to CRM, data lakes, IDAM, Cyber and corporate systems uplift.
Role
- Developing and managing project plans and schedules
- Contribute to project governance
- Report on project status to Directors and key stakeholders, develop exception reports
- Preparation of business cases, project plans, executive briefs
- Budget and financial management
- RAID and mitigation
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as an ICT Project Manager – this is an intermediate level position at Executive Level 1 (EL1) level.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex ICT projects within budget and on time.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to manage risks, issues and dependencies (Prince2, SAFe Agile)
- Experience working with government organisations (state or federal) or delivering project services into government from MSP or vendor side
- Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation projects using Agile or Hybrid models
- Experience delivering end to end projects from business case and project initiation to implementation and hypercare transition
- Due to the nature of this Client, proof of Australian Citizenship is required
