About the Centre/Service We are a recognised provider of the International Baccalaureate curriculum at our Kindergarten and School, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from 3 year-old Kindergarten to Year 6 at Kororoit Creek Primary School. We offer a play-based program that supports learning and inquiry through play in both the indoor and outdoor environments. Our program focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer in the kindergarten and within the wider global community. Alongside the PYP, we use the Victorian Early Years development Framework to create a comprehensive and engaging curriculum. Kororoit Creek Kindergarten is committed to Child Safe Standards. Kororoit Creek Kindergarten forms an integral part of the Kororoit Creek Primary School hub. The educators carefully link their planning with the school’s Programme of Inquiry, and track children’s learning using Learning outcomes. Whilst the Kindergarten is run in partnership with the Melton City Council and is funded by the Department of Education and Training, it is managed by the Kinder Centre Director and the Principal of Kororoit Creek Primary School.

Description This position is for our 4 YO group which runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays making it 15 hours a week. The hours will be - Tuesday - 8:00 to 4:30 pm Thursday - 8:30 - 4:30 pm Kororoit Creek Kindergarten seeks a nurturing and passionate diploma coeducator staff starting from 15th April 2024 to work in our outstanding, well-equipped kindergarten. This is an ongoing position. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Curriculum Excellence: Develop and implement a high-quality child-centric educational program based on relevant curriculum frameworks. Regulatory Proficiency: Demonstrate knowledge of National Quality Standards (NQS) and Child Safe Standards. Effective Collaboration: Display excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with families and working cooperatively within a collaborative team. Professionalism: Operate in a professional manner in accordance with National Regulations, service policies, and the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Passion for Education: Be dynamic, enthusiastic, and committed to excellence in early childhood education.
