We are seeking Direct Care Workers to provide support services in delivering in-home domestic assistance for clients aged 65 and above. Client is seeking a candidate available for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake basic domestic assistance
- Undertake the delivery of meals when required to do so
- Monitor the wellbeing and status of clients
- Identify and report any potential, or actual risks, or concerns via established procedures
- Provide general home assistance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of TAFE accredited/industry-based training course.
- Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or equivalent, and/or experience in a relevant field that demonstrates capability to undertake the position.
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Experience working in an environment that aims to enhance an individual’s independence.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in personal care for consumers who are both physically unable to undertake the tasks themselves or make the decisions about the care they need.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence, roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Current Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Double Vaccination
- Required to undergo Functional Capacity
- Must be willing to undergo Police Check
