Relevant qualifications to meet level 6 award requirements and where applicable, membership of the relevant association or registration with the relevant board, in one of the following disciplines: Diversional Therapy, Dietitian, Welfare Officer, Counselling, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapist and Social Work OR Senior Clinical Psychologist: Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with a Masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or some other recognised clinical area in psychology that the employer deems relevant to the functions of the position (as per Award). A Clinical Psychologist may, after not less than the completion of 12 months service at the 5th year of service and thereafter rate, may apply to the employer for classification as a Senior Clinical Psychologist
Relevant senior management experience working in a complex health environment, including financial, contractual and human resource management
Leadership with the ability to empower, motivate and support employees to achieve service and professional goals through quality improvement and change management principles
Knowledge of clinical redesign methodologies and their application in Mental Health, alcohol and Other Drugs service delivery with the ability to lead the implementation of evidence based, best practice models of care within a complex multidisciplinary team environment
