Your new role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate and Projects Controls, the Director, Digital, Data & Information Technology leads a team responsible for the development and implementation of Information Technology plans and services to streamline business processes, provide optimal information for decision making and ensure appropriate governance arrangements are in place for the management of information. The role will also work closely with the Chief Information Officer to deliver mutually beneficial Information Technology solutions and outcomes.

In this role you will,

• Lead and develop Information Technology and records management team, emphasising responsiveness, efficiency, appropriate governance/information security and customer centricity.
• Develop and deliver initiatives that improve IT service management and streamline business processes in alignment with overarching strategy and objectives.
• Continuously improve project management, data, reporting and analytics capabilities, enhancing insights and decision-making for project managers, delivery directors and senior executive.
• Ensure delivery of information security requirements and initiatives.
• Collaborate and build strong relationships to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes across key stakeholders including other agencies where relevant.
• Actively participate as a member of the C&PC Leadership team, contributing to and implementing the strategic direction, providing organisational leadership and actively championing a positive team culture by modelling the corporate values

• Develop Capability -Provides thought leadership and high-level advice around capability development across the transport infrastructure industry; Has knowledge of external factors relating to capability development such as demographic trends skills shortages and future workforce requirements;
• Strategic Planning - Guides others through the strategic planning process creating a shared vision for the future; Has a comprehensive understanding of external and internal issues that influence the strategic direction of transformational transport infrastructure projects;
• • Technical expertise - Demonstrated experience at a senior leadership level within the public sector and/or public policy environments, managing teams, with clear credibility amongst peers in the sector for breadth and depth of experience.
