The Division also has the lead responsibility for data and AI within the QPS.As part of this role, you will lead a small team who will have responsibility for the development of the Service's digital blueprint and roadmap. There will be a focus on co-creating a contemporary service experience strategy with a cohesive approach to enterprise architecture. It is an opportunity to drive digital innovation throughout the Service, navigating ways through the hype towards sustainable digital solutions.This role requires you to lead change in a large complex environment and navigate through ambiguity to make sound decisions and drive portfolio outcomes.The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Lead, manage, develop and deliver the design, implementation and evaluation of QPS Strategic Digital Blueprint, including engagement and negotiation with relevant contributors.
- Design and drive forward an overarching coherent experience strategy to streamlining services, taking both a system-led, outside-in approach to re-engineer processes and enabling digital innovations across the service.
- Lead the development of a future enterprise architecture roadmap and underpinning governance framework including an enterprise design authority for future QPS digital and strategies.
- Provide high quality advice to support strategic decision making and prioritisation of digital investment options.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships, and communicate with influence, with a wide network of colleagues within the department, external stakeholders, including agency partners, inter-departmental committees, and cross jurisdictional partners to maximise outcomes and ensure a collegiate approach to the Digital Strategy.
- Provide strategic, evidence-based and trusted advice on key issues relating to digital and technology opportunities to improve the unit's contribution to strategic QPS outcomes.
- Lead a small team of skilled technology and customer experience professionals.
- Experience in digital transformation, strategic planning, ICT and digital investment planning is also highly desirable.
- Experience in service design and customer experience practices.
- Experience in differing delivery functions e.g.: Portfolio, Programme, Project Management, and agile methodologies would be highly desirable.
