An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic Workplace Investigations leader, responsible for leading an internal group of investigators in providing strategic direction and influence for all aspects of progressing investigations focussed on allegations related to QCS staff conduct.
This leader will be skilled in facilitating collaborative links with internal and external partners and oversight agencies to ensure that the QCS meets the standard of ethical behaviours and integrity that is expected across the Queensland public sector.

As the Director, Ethical Standards-Workplace Investigations Group you will be a strategic and systems thinker, providing strategic advice to the Assistant Commissioner, Professional Standards and Governance Command along with the QCS Board of Management and other Executive Leadership Team members to ensure that any workplace investigations are progressed in a timely and effective manner with a focus on developing a trauma informed approach in line with legislative and policy requirements.
You will provide strong, collaborative leadership and direction to your team, continuously driving service delivery improvements.
You will operate as a key influencer who is both capable and comfortable in engaging and maintaining proactive relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to QCS.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Significant experience in leading and managing workplace investigations related to staff conduct.
• Sound experience in contributing to the design and delivery of policies and procedures focused on developing leadership and management capability in responding to staff conduct matters.
• Highly developed leadership skills in driving team performance and achieving effective service delivery outcomes
• Proven interpersonal ability in building and maintaining professional an strategic working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Significant experience in the application of legislation, directives and standards relevant to the conduct of workplace investigations and matters relating to ethical conduct.
