Guerrilla is an integrated agency based at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. We’re an independent, award-winning Australian agency. Our team of thinkers, dreamers and doers move ambitious brands forward using deep research, high technology, rare creativity, and trust.
We hold ourselves to the highest standard of quality in our work, which is why we’re searching for an experienced Group Account Director to join our team. This is the chance to be part of our fun environment and work with some of the most exciting national and global brands.
About the role
As a Group Account Director, also known as a Group Account Lead at Guerrilla, you’re the connection between the agency and our clients. By managing multiple client relationships across full-service accounts and projects, you’ll make sure that each one constantly feels valued, unearthing requirements and spotting opportunities. This will see you collaborate with the full agency team, from clients and stakeholders and across departments including strategy, creative, technology, media, and content. Your responsibilities extend beyond client management as you'll also oversee and manage the client service team, nurturing their skill development. Furthermore, owning and strengthening client relationships and delivering on agency Service Level Agreements will be integral to your role, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Additionally, you will work alongside the Managing Director to set up commercial contracts and structures for our clients to drive successful partnerships. While this role includes some account management responsibilities, your years of experience and marketing expertise allow you to provide high-level direction to the agency’s client portfolio and along with the Client Service team and grow existing client accounts.
About you
With 8+ years’ of relevant industry experience and 2+ years working as a Group Account Director, you breeze through account management tasks – such as quoting, scoping, briefing and tasking. You take ownership of your client portfolio and understand that the project team relies on your detailed knowledge of the client’s requirements, their business and the project scope. You naturally adapt in a fast-paced environment to ensure your team is accountable and on track. As a confident communicator, you also know how to manage expectations and build great relationships. Previous agency experience is required.
A strong eye for detail and up-to-date knowledge is also essential, especially in design, digital technology, content and digital and traditional media. After all, you’ll need to be comfortable managing large-scale projects across a variety of mediums. While you have relevant tertiary qualifications, you also bring an insatiable appetite to learn more and hone your skills.
