In this role you’ll
Report to the Executive Director, Northwest Operations and be supported by a team of skilled professionals
Be responsible for Assets and Systems function for the operations and maintenance phase across Sydney Metro, including the soon to be opened City & Southwest extension
Ensure the Operator complies with all contractual obligations, legislative requirements and meets all relevant standards throughout operations.
Lead the implementation of assurance, audit tools and systems processes to monitor and report on performance of the asset, including the implementation of regular assurance plans and activities
Collaborate with TfNSW to develop common systems of Assurance and Asset Management.

About you
As an influential leader, you have a demonstrated capability in building mutual relationships with our contractors and delivery partners. Furthermore, you will have the ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders who have different and often divergent needs and requirements across programs, projects and engineering disciplines. You are a self-starer and a contributor in nature, motivated in mentoring and coaching team members.
You might have just completed a major Rail project delivery and now in the process of looking for that next step. Your success will stem from your relevant professional experience in a senior asset management role with previous PPP and contracts management being advantageous. Demonstrated relevant experience in Rail Maintenance and Asset Management will be highly regarded.
You will be tertiary qualified in an Engineering discipline from a recognised tertiary institution and will have an interest in maintaining knowledge across a wide range of engineering standards, safety and skills requirements for safe engineering.
