Our directorate covers a broad range of sites and high-quality teams, each playing a vital role in delivering exceptional Mental Health care across all ages in inpatient, community, and general hospitals, drug and alcohol services, and prevention and health promotion teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive clinical governance and leadership, ensuring adherence to national Mental Health standards and legislative frameworks.
- Develop culturally appropriate services that embrace interventions such as traditional healing.
- Collaborate with the Mental Health management team to align strategies with Commonwealth, State, and WACHS Mental Health initiatives.
- Lead a dynamic team of doctors, providing mentorship, overseeing training, managing administrative functions, conducting workforce planning, and coordinating leave schedules.
- Depending on your area of psychiatric expertise and service requirements, join the team on the ground and have some clinical responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (or equivalent)
- Highly developed clinical skills and experience in Mental Health
- Ability to provide accredited undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development
