HAYS Recruitment are working with a large company who are in search of an experienced Contract Manager to join their team in Ballarat. The primary objective of this role is to provide support to their current clients and cleaning teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service in line with their commitment to excellence. On occasion hours of work may include some weekends, public holidays, or nights.
This is a full-time role operating this complex contract with the opportunity to help manage the Ballarat region as the business grows. If you have a proven track record in operations management from the hospitality, cleaning or facility management industry then we would like to hear from you.
Duties in the role will include;
- Supervise and lead the cleaning operations team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the performance of cleaning staff and address any issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing proactive solutions.
- Regularly communicate with clients to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for expanding services.
- Recruit, train, and mentor cleaning staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
What you'll need to succeed
- Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent people skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to deal with employees, stakeholders and clients.
- Sound understanding of workplace health & safety
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
