Located in the inner western suburbs, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Clinical Services, either full-time or 0.8, to join our leadership team.
As the Director of Clinical Services, you will hold a pivotal role in leading our clinical workforce to deliver top-tier services that not only meet but exceed Aged Care Quality Standards. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will assume overall quality and clinical accountability for our team, ensuring that our care processes are not only effective but deeply person-centered and innovative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and delivery of high-quality Clinical Services, adhering closely to Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Provide adept management and leadership of the clinical workforce.
- Optimise the allocation of Clinical resources for maximum efficiency.
- Foster a culture of learning and growth among staff, supporting them in delivering truely person-centered care.
- Drive innovation and implement transformative changes in care processes through comprehensive education and documentation.
- Work closely with Admissions, the Hospitality Services Manager, the Lifestyle Coordinator and other departments to ensure that residents and their families receive comprehensive support from the very beginning of their journey with us.
- Conduct thorough monthly reviews of Clinical audit reports, meticulously analysing data and taking decisive actions to ensure compliance.
- Oversee the thorough completion of assessments and care planning for all residents, guaranteeing timely evaluation.
- Ensure the timely completion of Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) referrals/assessments by the Care Manager and Clinical Care Coordinators, fully adhering to legislative requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting.
- A profound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
- Exceptional management and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Proficiency in implementing strategic changes, emphasising education and meticulous process documentation.
- A collaborative mindset, adept at working with cross-functional teams to achieve superior care and service delivery.
