The Director of Finance is responsible for leading the finance functions throughout the Australia region. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the region’s financial planning, reporting and analysis and for managing internal controls, systems and tax accounting, ensuring SOX compliance. As a member of the Australian leadership team, you will work closely with the business to identify opportunities for growth and/or improvements and provide valuable direction and input into strategic and commercial decisions.
The Director of Finance will be an engaging leader who enjoys working with teams to deliver successful outcomes. Ideally you will be CPA and tertiary qualified and have substantial experience operating in a senior finance role, preferably in the mining industry. You will have high-level technical accounting skills that cover management reporting, business analysis, IFRS, 52-109 and SOX compliance. You will also require a demonstrated track record in entrepreneurial business improvements and innovation. Your ability to think strategically, anticipate future trends/events, identify business opportunities and focus on improving operations will see you secure this outstanding leadership role.
