We are searching for a highly skilled and passionate Director of Food & Beverage to perform an integral management role overseeing the overall operations and driving the commercial aspects of the Food & Beverage Departments for our Hotel in Brisbane.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar leadership position, a flare for creativity and passion for people and service/experiences. They must be able to multitask at a high-level whilst driving revenue through commercially viable opportunities.
The Director Food and Beverage will oversee and control all facets of the food and beverage operations with particular focus on managing the Restaurants, Bar, Banquets and Room Service whilst focusing on guests needs, ensuring their satisfaction, focus on growing revenue and maximizing the financial performance of the department.
As Director of Food and Beverage, you will be:
- Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage department, including Kitchen.
- Carry out all policies associated with the company and mandates required by Senior Corporate Executives of Stamford Hotels and Resorts Head Office, as well as Senior Corporate Executives of the Stamford Land Corporation.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual Food & Beverage budget for the Hotel and along with the monthly / weekly forecast, ensure supportive and regular concurrence with its objectives of careful measurement and cost control.
- Attend Management meetings and Management Training Routines as required and mandated by the General Manager and the Company.
- Closely liaise and support the Food & Beverage Outlet Managers and Supervisors to ensure the department consistently exceeds expectations.
- Ensure weekly forecasts are accurate and assist in budgeting and business plan processing. Prepare and review EOM reporting package.
About you:
- Proven track record of successfully managing Food & Beverage department within hotel environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Strong knowledge of Food and beverage operations, industry trends and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- A proven track record in achieving targets and yield management.
