About the Role
As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead the managed services function, ensuring consistent and high-quality support for the organisation and clients, while collaborating closely with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and other key stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain a robust operational model that aligns with our strategic goals, supporting day-to-day activities and transformation initiatives.
- Service Delivery: Ensure seamless service delivery with a focus on precision, security, and compliance. Maintain the highest standards of service quality and performance.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels and supporting efforts to attract new clients. Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and driving improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead the charge in continuous improvement and automation of processes. Identify opportunities for efficiency and resource optimization.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- People Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Service Delivery professionals, promoting a culture of excellence through active management, feedback, and skill development. Foster collaboration and motivation.
- Collaboration: Partner with sales, technical, and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Governance: Establish governance and reporting frameworks for informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with information security and data confidentiality standards.
- 10+ years of operational experience in the IT Services Sector, with a background in professional/managed services preferred.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership – specifically within banking or financial services.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, third party vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and value.
- Diverse technical background – with knowledge across a broad range of technologies including: IBM Power,AIX, Wintel, Unix, Networks, Security, and Microsoft Azure public cloud
