  • Remuneration: $139,787.44 - $161,662.80; plus Superannuation and Leave Loading

Your day as an Associate Director, IT Operations
Your typical day-to-day as an Associate DirectorIT Operations will see you oversee the provision of IT support services. The role is responsible for service excellence ensuring the professional and timely provision of services and resolution of issues. You will work closely with internal and outsourced service providers to support business initiatives required to address ever changing trends which enable informed business decisions that focus on service level improvements. You will work in a fast-paced environment driving Treasury's digital workplace management and providing support on applications, records technology, Budget systems optimisation, cyber security, data analytics and reporting.
This role liaises extensively with other areas within Treasury, with NSW government agencies and equivalents in other jurisdictions across Australia, and with external stakeholders.
Achieve success as an Associate Director, IT Operations
In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • extensive project management experience of multiple, complex IT projects
  • demonstrated experience in the controlling, planning and implementation of projects
  • strong technical skills covering networking, End User Compute, Server Infrastructure, Identity Access Management, and an understanding of all operational areas of IT
  • excellent written and oral communication skills and effective stakeholder management, influencing, and dispute resolution skills
  • demonstrated document management and implementation of IT operations procedures experience
  • demonstrated understanding of the ITIL framework
  • Government, financial institutions at a similar level and/or professional consultancy experience.
