- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of Nursing staff.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
- Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and care quality metrics.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing staff, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.
- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- National Crime Check within the past 12 months
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Up to date immunisations
- At least 5 years of postgraduate experience in Aged Care
- Experience in management
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills to prioritise care and make sound clinical judgements
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in AN-ACC assessments
