Position Profile: We are actively seeking a skilled Nursing leader for appointment as Director of Nursing/Health Service Manager to support our Eastern Great Southern region.
Clinical Governance and Patient Safety is the prime focus of this role. You are responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of services throughout the Eastern Great Southern region through leadership and management of the Nursing division. The successful candidate will participate as a member of the Hospital Executive in the development of the strategic direction of the Health Service and its day-to-day management.
This operational position will support, guide, and lead the provision of safe quality services in all aspects of Nursing. As the Nursing lead the successful candidate will provide support, guidance, and facilitation of quality service provision impacting the smaller sites inclusive of optimising bed usage though efficient and effective patient flow.
Area Profile: The Eastern Lower Great Southern region includes Ravensthorpe, Bremer Bay, and Jerramungup and is home to some of the most unique National Parks and Reserves in Australia. The Fitzgerald River National Park provides spectacular recreational opportunities within its varied landscapes including bushwalking, camping, fishing and canoeing, whilst only a 35 minute drive away you will find the beautiful southern coastal town of Hopetoun where you can enjoy whale watching, swimming, and surfing.
