About the position:
After 16 years, a changing of the guard is about to take place. As a result, we are searching for our next passionate and inspiring Sales Director-APAC to help us grow to the next level and shape the future of our brands. In addition to the budget responsibilities, you will nurture and train our sales teams whilst fostering the relationships we share with our customers in Australia, New Zealand, S.E Asia and our near Island neighbors.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the domestic and international retail landscape and be able to articulate our competitive advantages within those markets. Your proven account management and leadership experience will enable you to the create, implement, and execute sales strategies, as well as set and achieve budget targets through your in-house team of quality sales professionals, located in all regions of the territory. You will be responsible for growing the team both personally and professionally and empowering our culture.

This is a true leadership role stretching across the full gamut of retailers from small independents to high quality, sophisticated retailers in prime capital city retail locations.
 

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the success of all sales strategies including:

  • Spearheading the development and execution of business and growth strategies for our wholesale accounts, driving overall performance to ensure sales targets are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Taking charge of leading, growing, and nurturing the Australasian wholesale channel. 
  • Identifying new and maintain existing wholesale account opportunities that contribute to the profitability of the wholesale channel. 
  • Cultivating and sustain strategic relationships with our sales partners, whilst achieving sales goals. 
  • Maintaining consistent brand representation across all retail environments. 
  • Providing ongoing physical support to accounts throughout the year, evaluating visual merchandising and upholding strong relationships with on-floor staff. 
  • Analysing sales data and manage strategies in alignment with the brand's overarching direction. 
  •  Conducting regular sales meetings to assess channel performance against well-defined key performance indicators. 
  • Leading all stakeholders in the project management of staged renovations for our retail stores partners and shop in shop concept stores.

About You / Qualifications:
You will possess a passion for leadership and an innate drive for success. Additionally, your leadership style should be nurturing, inspiring people through leading by example.
Minimum 5 years of wholesale Sales Management experience with demonstrated domestic and international sales success. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications. Experience with B2B sales platforms and CRM applications is advantageous. 
  • Expertise in strategic business planning, sales negotiation, brand positioning, customer relations, and logistics. 
  • Strong business analytical skills. 
  • Excellent sales and negotiation abilities. 
  • Strong leadership skills with cross-departmental collaboration capabilities. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in competitive and dynamic environments. 
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and sales planning.

 Exceptional customer service and networking skills, capable of building relationships with key retailers and external partners.
