Job description

About the role:Overall leadership of the RS business operation including the WA State sales team and the newly acquired business (HB), the Director of Sales & Operations WA will be a key member of the ANZ management team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the WA Sales & Operations team to optimise sales growth, achieve the WA Sales objectives and execute the operations flawless to deliver exceptional service to our customers in the market.
The individual will also partner with the ANZ management team in driving business strategy for ANZ and providing day-to-day leadership of strategic projects from brainstorming through implementation and execution.
The person's ability to build rapport quickly and leverage working relationships and to represent the strategic intent of the Company across teams will be critical for success in this role.Responsibilities:Sales LeadershipProvides leadership of the WA State business to drive and achieve sustainable sales and exceed sales targetsAligns and establish relevant KPIs to monitor progress against WA overall business plan and develop and implement remedial actions where required.Ensures customer data and segmentation for the geography is managed and maintained to enable accurate analysis of trends and KPIs and to maximise marketing campaign outcomes.Facilitates linkage with local and regional functional leads to ensure market specific customer requirements are communicated and integrated into plans to develop our local service offer.Leads the WA team to achieve high levels of employee engagement and high performance in line with strategic objective to build a great place to work.Responsible for WA overall budget and profitability achievement, cost management.Leads state-wide partnership negotiations to support customers, business partners and sales initiatives.Liaises with customers, establishing and working with business partners and suppliers.Operations ManagementDefines key business drivers and metrics and provides necessary resources to the business.Reviews and analyses financial, operational, marketing, staffing, organisational structure and customer data, and strategy.Analyses and reviews resources and assets for the purpose of determining utilisation, financial return, and overall performance.Responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction as measured by various surveys and metrics.Establishes expectations, processes, and metrics for employee behaviour and actions that influence customer satisfaction.Ensures the company complies with all contracts, obligations, laws, and regulations in such a manner that the corporation's best interests are served and protected.Build and maintain an engaged and positive relationship with partners and key people in the industry and develop strong relationships with broader stakeholders in the region ide leadership for the overall operating performance of the business including market analysis, business planning and operational oversight to the business.Manage the WA State annual and long-range strategic planning process and support translating the strategic deployment plans into executable, pragmatic actions.Act as an executive level thought-partner for major strategic considerations and analytical support where needed.Other Management ResponsibilitiesRisk ManagementBusiness ContinuityQuality ManagementEnvironmental, Health and SafetyREQUIREMENTSExtensive WA mining industry experience, High pressure Fluid Transfer experience, Electrical and panel buildingSolution selling knowledge and experience mandatoryProven experience in sales, business development, strategic planning, management consulting, or merger & acquisitions.Experience of Key/Strategic Account Management and proven track record in sales, in a B2B/technical environment.Strong leadership skills and coaching with experience in building, retaining, and motivating a high-performance team.Demonstrate the ability to influence, challenge, negotiate, build credibility and work with integrity at all levels within the internal and external organisation.Understanding and experience of e-commerce solutions within a B2B environmentUnderstanding of procurement strategies within a business environment and able to articulate value solutions to support customer needs.A thorough understanding of the WA/AU business environment, broad industry knowledge, industry drivers and trendsComfortable with ambiguity, and in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment.Ability to communicate complex processes, problems, and solutions in a simple, compelling an accurate manner. Think and lead strategically with a keen attention to detail.Innovative and entrepreneurial approach and ability to develop efficient processes.Culturally sensitive and have strong emotional intelligence and able to work under pressure
