An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic individual to join the Ministry of Health in a key strategic role to lead/deliver innovative and dynamic People and Culture priorities aligned with the Future Health Strategy

Role Outline
The Director People and Culture leads the development and implementation of strategic People & Culture objectives aligned to Future Health and provides authoritative counsel and advice to senior stakeholders on human resources issues and strategies for the Ministry of Health.
They also lead the workforce service functions utilising a business partnership culture to ensure excellent HR service delivery to enable and facilitate the achievement of the NSW Health Workforce Plan which also includes providing counsel, governance and strategic support to Chief Executives, Board Chairs and Health Service senior executives and Public Service senior executives across the NSW Health system.

As a senior HR leader, describe how you have previously fostered engagement, growth and high performance within a complex workforce environment.
The P&C Director will contribute to the delivery of transformational projects across NSW Health. How have you engaged and influenced stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects’ in similarly complex environments.
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in human resources or related field or equivalent professional experience
Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative provisions and regulations governing public sector employment and related issues
Strong problem solving skills, with an ability to drive excellent customer service

This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Public Service senior executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $218,965 to $243,068 per annum, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
