Form of work The role The Queensland Government is proud of the progress it is making to support the rights of women and girls. This includes the Queensland Women and Girls' Health Strategy released in March 2024, which will invest almost $250 million in new funding over five years to drive system reform, address system inequities and enable our women and girls to fully participate in social, cultural and economic activities. This role is part of a broader departmental team to support the implementation and evaluation of the Queensland Women and Girls' Health Strategy. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to service quality standards and health and safety protocols, thereby guaranteeing the delivery of top-tier healthcare services. Your leadership will extend to providing strategic guidance and expert advice to senior executives, including the Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, as well as overseeing projects aimed at improving healthcare access and quality.
