The Position
The Director of Business is responsible for the delivery of Business administration, financial management and resource management.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this position advises, directs, and leads Sunshine Coast Grammar School’s (SCGS) corporate governance, business strategies and operations, including implementation of the Strategic Design (2023-2026) and Masterplan. This position acts as Company Secretary for the Advisory Council and the SCGS Foundation and provides secretariat functions to the Advisory Council and Foundation and Principal, and governance support through compliance with financial, delegations and corporate regulatory requirements.

The Organisation
Sunshine Coast Grammar School (SCGS) is an independent, co-educational school catering for nearly 1500 Prep to Year 12 students. The Grammar School offers a 149-place Early Learning Centre (ELC) program and partners with School Plus Foundation Limited to provide families with a full program of Outside School Hours Care. Grammar is grounded in strong Christian beliefs and values which underpin its actions and care for all members of the wider community. SCGS prides itself on the supportive and caring relationships that students establish and maintain with their peers and teachers throughout their time at school.
SCGS is nestled on a 100-acre site, about half of which is rainforest, situated a 15-minute drive from the coastal beaches of Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba and Maroochydore.
