About the role

We are looking for a Director Strategy, Planning and Transformation for the disability sector.

You will work closely with our clients in the disability sector and lead the development and execution of service line (product) strategies and business solution design. This role requires expertise in developing and executing strategy, business solution design and service delivery models. 

The Director Strategy, Planning and Transformation will work closely with our clients executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that address the unique needs of the disability community and drive client and revenue growth. This team focuses on the long-term vision and goals and high-level design considering market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs over a 1-3 year horizon.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Develop strategy across multiple service lines – grow / maintain / exit and assess new service line opportunities
• Work with finance to develop expected revenue and margin from restructuring service lines or introducing new revenue streams
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the disability sector
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including individuals with disabilities, their families, advocacy groups, and government agencies, to inform strategic planning
• Lead the development of innovative programs and services that meet the diverse needs of people with disabilities
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives
• Oversee the OKR/ KPI implementation across the organisation
• Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on issues related to disability policy, advocacy, and community engagement
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of strategy and planning professionals
• Oversee service design and digital solution proof of concept development
• Set up customer feedback groups to inform service design 
• Stay abreast of developments in the disability sector, including changes in legislation, best practices, and emerging trends
   

You will have:

• Proven experience in strategic planning, program development, or related field within the disability sector
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Strong stakeholder engagement skills at an executive level
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Strong commercial acumen 
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive innovation and change
• Ability to work through ambiguity to develop the scope of an initiative
• Experience working with diverse populations, including people with disabilities and their families
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially PowerPoint) and other relevant software
• Deep knowledge of disability rights, services, and supports (optional)
