And your job, as an Account Director, will be critical in helping us to build a better, stronger, more agile Downer Professional Services.We have 2 newly created Account Director opportunities:Maritime, Land & Air AccountThe Account Director for the Maritime, Land & Air Account will need a deep understanding of the role of the Defence war fighter and preferably have experience with delivery of projects inside the Defence Capability Life Cycle. A contextualised understanding of the relationship between the war fighter and the capabilities that they are required to operate is critical for the success of this role.Strike, Strategic Centre & GWEO AccountThe Account Director for the Strike, Strategic Centre & GWEO Account will need a deep understanding of the role of the Defence war fighter and preferably have experience with weaponeering and understanding of Defence's priorities and missions as translated across its program architectures and projects. A contextualised understanding of the relationship between Defence's missions and effects Defence needs to generate is critical to the success of this role.Responsibilities:A real endeavour, driven by youOur work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have for this role:

• A current NV1 security clearance required, NV2 preferred

We're also looking for

• Subject Matter Expertise in one of our key service offerings for Defence (e.g., Project/Program Delivery, Mission Engineering, Systems Engineering).
• Experience building and maintaining influential relationships with clients.
• Significant commercial acumen including management of budgets, project delivery and compliance.
• Experienced people leader, with a history of developing and retaining your direct reports and an enablement focused leadership style.
