What our Disability Advocacy Services Manager role looks like…
As the Disability Advocacy Service Manager at Midlas, your day will be dynamic and impactful. Picture yourself diving into the day leading team meetings for our NDIS Appeals and Individual Advocacy teams, fostering collaboration and steering service delivery. You will further support your multidisciplinary and dispersed teams ensuring that each team member has the right mix of support and autonomy. Tackling complex cases will require your adept skills in managing guardianship and administration orders and navigating conflicts of interest with finesse – leveraging the expertise within our teams to achieve the best outcomes.
Strategic operations are part of your daily rhythm, with hands-on involvement in both service program development, change management and senior leadership decisions. Beyond the immediacy of day-to-day management, you'll also play a key role in the broader picture by engaging with funders. These quarterly reports and engagements with the two main contract managers are vital in securing the resources needed to empower our community and further the mission of Midlas.
