About us:

GOC Care is an experienced Community Service Provider that has been caring for the community for over 40 years. We provide community-based support for people within the Brisbane Metropolitan, Brisbane North & South and Gold Coast Regions. 

We are currently seeking a Disability Care Coordinator Assistant to provide support to our Disability Care Coordinator.

The role:

The Disability Care Coordinator Assistant will work closely with the Disability Care Coordinator and will be responsible for administration tasks such as but not limited to; completion of Service agreements in line with NDIS plans, ensuring all necessary paperwork is up to date and completed in a timely manner, assisting with bookings for short term accommodation and day program, ensuring electronic files are current, archiving, organising and attending stakeholder meetings alongside the Disability Care Coordinator, devising activity plans.

Role essentials (please note, these are mandatory requirements to be successful in this role):

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in administration.
• Qualification in Disability, Human Services, Community Welfare Work, Social Sciences, Social Work or similar is desirable but not essential.
• Strong administration and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience using databases and online systems.
• Criminal History Check. 
• NDIS orientation module
• Workers screening check and blue card
