The Organisation:

The role:

As a Service Leader, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to clients, promoting a positive workplace culture, and contributing to the mission of Centacare.
As a Disability Service Leader, you will work collaboratively to deliver person-centred care, ensuring clients have the support they need to maximize choice and control. You will lead a team, providing supervision, coaching, and setting clear expectations for best practice. Your role will contribute to a positive workplace culture, brand awareness, and a commercial focus in an adaptive and changing environment.
Key Duties:
  • Lead, set outcomes, provide advice, and provide regular direct supervision and performance feedback to support workers and other direct reports to embed person-centred practice to deliver safe supports that enable clients to work towards their individual goals.
  • Supporting clients and their families, where appropriate; to plan, coordinate and facilitate regular team meetings and required client-specific training. With an emphasis on person-centred goals and outcomes, reflective practice and managing risk.
  • Ensuring client's personal care, support and health needs are met and provided within the applicable standards for the relevant service stream.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and services offered by the program are promoted positively to the clients, their families, and the community.
  • Manage the running of the services which may include managing service budgets, program development and compliance, report and record keeping and vacancy management.
Skills and Experience:
  • Diploma in Community Services/Disability or equivalent
  • Leadership experience in a human services organisation
  • Knowledge of funding standards, guidelines, and legislation.
  • Strong NDIS framework and client support knowledge.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain an NDIS workers screening card and working with children check.
  • Ability to obtain and pass a police check.
