About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our NDIS operations in Queensland. This role is pivotal in driving both client success and business growth within the state. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of NDIS service delivery, ensuring high-quality, client-centred outcomes while achieving sustainable, profitable business expansion.
We're flexible - this role can be based at any of our offices throughout QLD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow and enhance NDIS services in Queensland.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction.
- Create a culture consistent with the business’ values and a learning environment where employees are proactively encouraged to develop their skills and capabilities.
- Ensure services are delivered in alignment with NDIS standards and client needs.
- Foster relationships with clients and families to understand their goals and improve service delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate forecasting for the disability business and identify potential revenue/gross margin gaps and plans to address these to meet budget.
- Implement best practices to optimise service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the NDIS framework.
- Lead business development with key Support Coordination and Plan Manager businesses as well as funding bodies and department of health contacts to establish additional referral sources to drive growth.
- Lead responses to tenders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
- Represent the organisation in public forums and advocate for clients’ needs and rights.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the disability, healthcare, or community services sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS framework and its application within Queensland.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of achieving business growth and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Services or related field and/or relevant industry experience.
