A forward thinking and innovative team where your ideas are heard and valued.About the serviceThe Individual Apartment Living service is an identified area for growth at Sylvanvale and this brand new business unit includes 3 existing and upcoming locations in the St George and Sutherland Shire areas.Each location has its’ own Individual Apartment Living team which provides drop-in support to ten individuals with a disability living in their own apartments in a residential unit block. Each location offers brand new, luxury apartments to the tenants.To support the tenants to live independently, we partner with disability housing providers who ensure the tenants are supplied with the required Assistive Technology and Sylvanvale provides the tenants the requested level of support through our innovative service.About the roleReporting to the Regional Manager you will manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the Individual Apartment Living service. With your strong coaching and mentoring skills, you will support a team of Disability Support Workers to develop and implement best practice.Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Operational Guidelines relevant to the Individual Apartment Living Service.
- Ensuring high quality, client-centred supports are provided by Disability Support Workers.
- Facilitating group support and supervision of frontline staff and monthly Team Meetings.
- Being the key point of contact for clients and frontline staff.
- Ensuring all client documentation is current and staff are trained in implementing support that is specific to their needs.
- Ensuring frontline rostered hours do not exceed those consented to in client Service Agreements.

You are constantly striving for continuous improvement and delivering high quality services.You are commercially savvy and understand the need to balance quality service provision with the delivery of serviceable hours and ratios that are contracted by the people we support. You are a great communicator and invest in developing great stakeholder relationships.Essential:
- Previous experience in a business or people management role.
- Strong business acumen and success in business development.
- Customer driven approach to service delivery.
- Ability to achieve results and deliver on quality.
- Ability to identify trends and drive process improvement.
- Solid understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Practice Standards.
- Knowledge of providing services and support to people living with disability.
- Working knowledge of budget management.
- Solid report writing skills and data analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Certificate IV in Disability or similar.
- Tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
