Form of workLooking for Experienced Disability Support Workers (Part time and Casual) to join our team at APR Care in Townsville.
Within this role, you will be responsible for implementing support services aimed at maximising the daily lives of those living with a disability. We are looking for someone who would be flexible in availability (our facilities runs 24/7) and encompasses a person-centered approach to care.

You will be based in our Rangewood care facility. A valid driver's license and/or reliable transport is essential as shifts vary during the day/overnight. You may also be required to drive the company vehicle for participants.
We require that you have a valid blue card and NDIS worker's screening check (or a willingness to obtain before you start). Please reach out if you need further information on how to obtain this. Proof of COVID-19 vaccine is required.
Physical Criteria:
As we specialise in those with mobility issues, you will need to be able to assist in the lifting/hoisting of participants (pushing, pulling, bending).
You may be standing for long periods.
