SIL Full TimeDisability Support Team/Home Lead
- Female applicants only (due to participant requirements)
- Location: Wallsend and Cessnock
- 76 hours per fortnight, with a combination of support shifts and administration work
- Hands on training, development and mentoring with an inclusive Organisation.

Supported Independent Living
As a SIL provider, Songbird offers disability accommodation and daily life assistance so that participants can achieve as much independence as possible. We provide 24/7 supported living homes throughout the Hunter region, including Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and beyond!

Do you have?
- A Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care, or be enrolled in your second year of study towards your higher qualification in a relevant field (required)
- 1 years’ experience within the Health, Care and/or Disability industry (required) (behaviours and mental health experience preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership capability:
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Team-focused approach
- Time management skills
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with participants that have both behavioural and medical needs
- A Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (required)
- NDIS Worker Screen Check (required)
- Valid Australian Driver Licence (Red Provisional – minimum) (required).
